The Wisconsin QSO Party committee recommends that participants adhere to the General Rules for ARRL Contests on bands below 30 MHz (HF) and for bands above 50 MHz (VHF). Please do not use the National Calling Frequencies - such as 146.52 - during WIQP. We suggest using the following frequencies:

Wisconsin QSO Party

HF'ers: It's 4:40 PM March 14 & you still don't have that WV multiplier?

WV Fone Net (no, I'm not the newest Fonix Grad) 3.811 (+or-, usually -) is at 6:00 PM EDT (5:00 PM CDT). Generally, folks are trying to clear the frequency beginning about 20 or 30 minutes before net start, and some usually are around after net closure.

Repeaters

The 146.76 Repeater is back on the air!

Back in early September we were told that the old tower will be coming down soon and we should remove our antenna and feedline by the 12th. At the time I expected the repeater to be off the air for 2 weeks tops. That was almost 5 months ago. After construction delays and electrical problems we were given the go ahead with the antenna installation for January 11th.
